Here are some of our most popular tours in and around Siem Reap. We can, of course, provide a tour that is designed with you to suit your needs.

  1. Street Food Tour

This tour takes place in the early evening and is a walking tour through the markets of Siem Reap to sample Khmer street food. Cambodian cuisine offers more delicate flavours than Thai food  though with some traditional spices and flavours, include Kampot pepper (once the most valuable pepper in the world!) We will, of course, pick you up from your hotel by tuktuk and transport you to the start of the tour and return you if you require it.

Try local dishes, including Loklak, Lort Cha, Bamboo Sticky Rice, snails and, of course, Cambodian beer. How about trying some fried insects (grilled worms and crickets, for example)? There will be an opportunity to chat with vendors about the food too.

Price: $25 per person (including food payments].

   2. Angkor Wat Temple Tour

The temples of Angkor are world renowned and cover a huge are, just outside Siem Reap. Most people choose the Small Tour (one day) which will take in a visit to the incomparable Angkor Wat, which is the largest religious temple in the world and a place of sublime beauty  and spirituality. The tour also includes a visit to Angkor Thom, Chaosay Tevoda, Thomanan, Takeo, Ta Prohm(which many people know from the movie, Lara Croft: Tomb Raider)and Banteay Kdey.

The tour can be adjusted to take in sunrise at Angkor Wat or sunset views.

 Price: $20

(Temple park ticket is extra - $37 for one day; $62 for 2 or 3 day ticket; $72 for 1 week ticket)

   3. Kulen Mountain Tour

 

Some 65km  from Siem Reap, Phnom Kulen is home of an ancient civilisation and a place of outstanding natural beauty. After a drive through rice fields and beautiful countryside, we arrive at the river where you can see the linga built into the river bed by ancient people. The mountain is an energetic walk up to the shrine at the top and stunning views. We will walk through the jungle pathways before heading off to the beautiful waterfall for swimming and relaxation. Khulen has great historical significance for Hindus and Buddhists, as well as being a place of beauty and tranquillity. 

Price: $90 per person (minimum of 2); price includes ticket, car/van hire, food and drinks.

  4. Local Temple Blessing Tour

Siem Reap has a number of working temples, which form the centre of village communities, that are well worth visiting. Some of these are almost 200 years ago and have interesting architecture and beautiful wall paintings, as well as impressive halls and statues of Buddha. Here you can meet the monks and even receive a blessing!

The half day tour will take us to Wat Bo (one of the oldest working temples in Siem Reap) where you will have an opportunity to look inside and see the wall paintings, then walk around the temple grounds, taking memorable [photographs]. We shall then visit the city’s most venerated shrines, Preah Ang Chek and Preah Ang Chom. From there we head to Wat Thmey, home of the city’s Killing Fields shrine to learn something of Cambodia’s recent history, and receive a water blessing. We end our trip with a visit to a street food stall for snacks.

Price: $23 (including food payments on the trip)

  5. Countryside Tour

The tour begins with your hotel pickup in order to take you out of the city to explore the beauty and traditions of the Cambodian countryside, with visits to rice fields, lotus famers (when they are in season), vegetable farms and of course, local villages.  We shall stop for you to chat to local people and take photographs of your unforgettable experience. Perhaps you’d like to buy some local produce or gifts from roadside stalls.

Price: $23 per person, including payments made on the tour.

  6. Tonle Sap Tour (The Lake)

Tonle Sap is just 15 kilometres out of the city and provides a unique opportunity to go out on the lake, see the floating villages, including Kampong Phluk and Chong Khneas, and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of being on the water. Tonle Sap is the largest lake in S.E. Asia and increases its size by more than 500% during the rainy season. It has been designated a unique biosphere reserve by UNESCO, with many different types of fish and plants in and around the lake.

The villages are made up of houses built upon stilts up to 10 metres high in the water, including a church, a restaurant and a school; many of the residents have lived there for years.

Our journey to the lake will take us past he local rice paddies, a lotus farm and the mountain that looks down across the lake and the flood plain, and on which there is a temple.

Price: $15 per person  to Chong Kneas - floating village

  7. Horse Riding Tour

Happy Ranch Farm provides a unique riding experience for all levels of ability, through the Cambodian countryside and a village. The horses are well trained and the instructors are very experienced, with a strong emphasis on safety. We will organize your tickets, pick you up from your hotel and take you to Lucky Ranch Farm on the outskirts of Siem Reap, wait for you and bring you back to your hotel.

Tuktuk $10 (Horse riding: $38 for one hour; other options are available)

  8. Fishing Trip

For a nice, relaxing afternoon that gets you involved with local people, take a fishing trip. We shall drive out to meet local fishermen who will take you net fishing and after you can enjoy grilled fish and drinks near the waterside. What better way to spend a free day? You can swap stories with the fishermen about how big your catch was!

Price: $25, including food and drinks costs.

 9. Balloon Ride

The balloon is tethered, just outside the city and close to Angkor Wat. It offers a unique opportunity to see the magnificent temple from the air. You will see the incredible beauty of the Cambodian countryside surrounding Angkor Wat and Siem Reap, enjoying the peace and tranquillity of your time in the air. Afterwards, why not stop off for coffee and cake at Brown’s the largest coffee shop in Siem Reap or Little Red Fox, one of the trendiest places in town?

Because flights are subject to weather and atmospheric conditions, we will keep you in touch in order to know when you can fly. The decision is made on a daily basis so we will contact you by phone or text to let you know.
